With over 25 years of nursing experience, Catrin is a dedicated healthcare professional committed to providing exceptional ear care within the NHS. As a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), she upholds the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Catrin offers specialist ear care services at Madog Sba once a week, utilising advanced technology such as HD video otoscopy to capture high-definition images and videos of the ear canal and eardrum. This enables precise assessment and monitoring of ear health.
Catrin is trained in safe and effective wax removal through microsuction, helping to alleviate discomfort and improve hearing.
Hearing loss affects 1 in 5 adults in the UK (Royal National Institute for Deaf People), yet ear health often goes overlooked. Catrin is passionate about raising awareness and providing accessible ear care to improve quality of life for patients of all ages.
